Most computer services
can be performed on-site where clients are welcome to monitor
the work performed. Services involving data backup, data
recovery, troubleshooting, or hardware related issues may need
to be done in-shop. HomePC strives to have your computer
back to you in a 24 hour period if in-shop maintenance is
required.
Cyber Security services are available on a contract basis. Rates
will be deteremined by the scope of the services required.
For computer services, HomePC charges an hourly rate of
$69.99 pro-rated.
Malware/Virus
Security Package (usually
takes 1 hour and includes the following services)
Malware Removal - Remove ALL malware including virus',
worms, trojans, rootkits, spyware, adware, and other
unwanted software; diagnosing out how your machine got
infected in the first place, and if the virus was
collecting personal information. You will NOT lose any
personal data or programs.
PC Tuneup
- Your
computer will receive an overall tune-up to remove junk
files and disable unused programs/features/services that
will make it more secure and run faster.
Computer Protection/Security
Software - Your computer will be checked to make sure
it has adequate security software for your needs. New
software will be installed to provide you with better
protection at no additional cost to you
Free phone assistance

Operating System
repairs/Installation - Includes installation of
free security software and all Operating System updates
Data recovery (in-shop only) - Special
techniques, both hardware and software, are used to
recover your data off of a completely failed, or failing
hard drive. Includes transferring recovered data back to
a device (computer, laptop, external hard drive, etc…. )
of your choice
Networking & WiFi
setup/installation - Includes installation and
security configuration of wireless router, wireless
connection setup for in-home computers, laptops, Blu-Ray
players, and game consoles (XBOX, PlayStation, Wii)
System setups and installations - Includes
connecting to the Internet (wired or wireless), setting
up email, and installation of printer. New
computers and laptops usually only come with a trial
security package and are quite vulnerable; they should
be considered for the PC Tuneup and Security Software
packages listed above.
Upgrades (may need to be done
in-shop) - Memory (RAM), BluRay/DVD/CD installation,
Video/Sound and other add-in cards
